Starting Monday, April 7, 2003, you can pre-register any home or cell numbers that you have with the California Do Not Call Registry, which will make the numbers off limits to telemarketers for five years, starting October 1, 2003. Charities, political groups, small businesses and companies with whom you have a "prior relationship" will still be allowed acess to your phone number. Yay! Starting in October, my phone won't ring while I'm eating dinner... except when one of you lovely people calls us.
