Hail to Radiohead

When I got on the bus this morning, I noticed that someone had stuck three promo stickers for Radiohead's new album, Hail to the Thief, on the outside of the window I was sitting next to. Generally, the vandalism you see on the bus is of the tagging, swearing, "Jane and John 2gether 4ever" variety, but this one really made my day. It's hard to explain, but little displays of good taste such as this (I assume some Radiohead fan stuck them there) really make me feel a sense of hope for the world. It's like the time I saw a packaging sticker for an extremely rare Moontribe CD stuck to the back of my bus seat. In a world where Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake seem to rule the charts, I really like to see evidence that people out there actually listen to good music. Perhaps I should get a bunch of these Radiohead stickers myself and stick them around the city... a little grassroots advertising for their new album couldn't possibly hurt and maybe I'll make someone else's day.

Speaking of cool music, check out the Minibosses.

Check this shit out!!!
Radiohead says "the shareholders are greedy".

You'll have to disable your pop-up blocker, and listen to a 17 second ad beforehand,... however radiohead has some good shit to say about the record industry and online music sharing in this bad ass interview...
well worth the 3 minutes of your time.

Jeff to the record industry: DON'T BLAME THE INTERNET FOR UNDERMINING YOUR LIMITLESS GREED.
