Real American Idols

I finally figured out why American Idol has SUCKED so hard this year; all the real young talent is at CAMP! Warning: music will start as soon as you open this link, but at least it's good music... or at least the 1st and 3rd songs are. Either one of these girls could have beat Clay and Ruben! Apparently, Sasha Allen (How Shall I See You Through My Tears) was the New York finalist for VH1's own short-lived American Idol, Born to Diva the same month that Camp premiered. Unlike American Idol, Born to Diva held extensive auditions in five locations and then had just 5 divas duke it out in Vegas. Sasha lost to the contestant from Atlanta. I tried to find stuff on the girl who sang Here's Where I Stand, Tiffany Taylor, but I guess she has the same name as Playboy's Miss November 1998, so all I really found out about her was that she went to the Baltimore School for the Arts, the same school that Tupac Shakur attended in the 80's.

How right you are...I couldn't agree with you more. I am no music conusor, but when I heard Sasha Allen belt out a tune in the first scene of the movie Camp (which I though was fairly average) I was in awe. She is a fox!

I loved the movie, although slow in some parts, but the talent was fantastic. I had the "Here's where I stand" song in my head for ages.

I think That Sasha singing How Shall I See You Through My Tears was awesome I downloaded that song the moment I heard it and Tiffany Taylor is so awesome that song Heres where I stand was the perfect song for her she was kind of shaky at times but overall she was awesome.
