Bling-Bling, Baby!

Today I have an interview with LegalMatch.com right after school, so I wore my suit to school today. I really didn't want to because it's very noticeable when people are wearing suits and I can't stand the thought of sticking out and having people looking at me all day. On the other hand, I did want to wear it because

  • it's fabulous
  • it was very expensive - and I had to pay an extra $75 and wait a month to get it tailored to fit me although it's a 0 Petite - so I should get as much wear out of it as possible and
  • I kinda want people to know that I have an interview and I'm not really as stupid as I feel they all think I am
  • So I'm shallow and neurotic, but we all knew that already. Anyway, I got a lot of compliments on it. Josh S. said that standing next to me, he felt like he was in P.Diddy video, whatever that means. I know that I'm probably overdressed for the interview since it's going to be at a dot-com, but I still contend that I bought the damned thing so I should wear it. You never know, I might start wearing it all the time - to the store, out to dinner - for no other reason than to feel like I've already gotten through school and have a job (and money). Or, maybe it'll just sit in my closet over the summer if I get this dot-com job - doing research and putting legal information in bullet-points for their site. Now, there's money well spent.

Raar! Hot shit! I remember you telling me about this suit.
Only you could wear a suit with pink pinstripes. You could definetly be on P. Diddy's legal team.

Also, apologies for the teary message from earlier. Something was wacky w/ my blog and I was having an unprovoked meltdown about it. It seems to be ok now. I have no idea what was going on.

The interview went OK... I doubt I have enough "writing experience" for the position though. Apparently, college-level media theory and french papers aren't good enough, but perhaps my writing sample will win me some experience points. However, the day ended well; Sean, Acacia, Moti and I went to Home for dinner. Très chic.

It was a damn fine meal, but it paled in comparison to your suit.
