My Day is Made

I don't get to talk to Khurram much these days, but when I do, it's very nice to hear what the law school scene is like down in LA and get the insight of a man that never seems to get angry or upset about anything. The following quote totally made my day, having been one uncomfortably steeped in international law.

Comity is no laughing matter.

Oh, how I enjoy Khurram and his infinite mellowness!
If only I measured up to the strict wife-selecting criteria he has told me of, so that I might live out my days in happiness.

My goodness! I just saw a cute first-year Pakistani girl (hard to believe, but there are 2 Paki girls; both attractivas) I know walking over to me, really smiley and waving in my general direction. You already see where this is going. I got all excited and started frantically reciprocating . . . only for her to walk straight past to the desk behind me. In order to create a mellow desktop atmosphere to attract her attention, I started casually browsing Digital Johnny and to my surprise, I see myself as the subject of a posting. I think seeing me looking at a picture of myself on the internet REALLY impressed the aforementioned cute girl. Hey, at the very least, she sat down right near me. Maybe she figures she can learn new heights of nerdocity by osmosis. That, or she couldn't find any other seats. And by my casual stroll down the hall, I have just confirmed the latter. God bless the attractivas, America, and nobody else!

One more thing: Kristina, you're the best! This has *truly* made my day. I can't stop smiling.
